A Swansea company who recently received 2 National CEW Awards for its products and Dr Organic Brand has done it again on the National Stage.
The Dr Organics’ team joined the great and the good of the beauty industry, who gathered in London’s One Marylebone to find out the winners for Cosmo’s 9th Annual Beauty Awards 2011.
Cosmo’s editor, Louise Court, along with Cosmo’s beauty team and a panel of expert beauty industry insiders plus some well known Celebs spent over six weeks putting 325 beauty products through their paces to find the most innovative, effective and indulgent products on the market.
The judges tested hundreds of products to find the ones that really work. Lips, eyes, face, cleansing, skincare, anti-ageing, body, sun care, self-tanning and bronzing, hands and feet and finally men formed the categories.
The Cosmo panel which included Girl’s Aloud singer Nicola Roberts & Model & blogger Ruth Crilly voted and commented on all category winners. Dr Organic Rose Otto Hand & Nail Cream, which retails at £6.49 won “Best Hand Cream”. Cosmo Editor Louise Court writing in October’s Magazine quoted: “Applying this is like burying your nose in a big bunch of roses. It looks and performs like a hand cream that’s twice the price. Gorgeous”.
Dr Organic Director and Co Founder Fred Whitcomb said, “This is simply unreal. We always believed we had some great products before these awards, but when you compete with established brands such as Clarins, Clinique, Estee Lauder, Nivea, No7 and Lancome and you finish up as the winner, it’s a remarkable achievement and a credit to our team”
A full story on the event and the winners is in October’s issue of Cosmo which is on sale now.
